George graduated from  Art Center College of Design with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in 1981. A year before graduating he was invited to teach scholarship-level classes at ACCD. He replaced a respected senior instructor and continued teaching there for three years. As a senior George also received accolades by winning a citywide competition, depicting on canvas the rich architectural history of LA for its celebrated Bicentennial.

George has produced commercial illustration for Honda Motorcycles, Mazda Chemical, Alpine Audio, Nikko Toys, Fred Segals, and others. He has created countless cover and editorial illustrations for Westways Magazine, InfoText, Digitrends and Fancy Publications.

Bloomfield moved to Orange County in 1984 to become VP Creative Director of Homes For Sale Magazine. Some years later, as Director of Marketing, George managed a successful marketing campaign for Spanish Hills Golf & Country Club memberships and home site sales from groundbreaking through its grand opening in 1991.

Complimenting his proven design skills, and with extensive experience as a focused project manager and seasoned corporate executive, Bloomfield also consults to discerning visionary business owners as a marketing campaign strategist.
